Environmental Issue Poster

This is a poster I did for my graphic assignment. Students were free to choose the theme but it has to be based on a Malay idiom. So I chose environment issue awareness poster with "Berat sama dipikul, ringan sama dijinjing" Malay proverb meaning to share the good and the bad.

The idea behind the poster was based on the deforestation issue in Malaysia which gets worse each day. Everyone was happily sharing the nature but we must also remember to protect it together. In order to avoid further damage to our mother earth, we have to work together to change the would-be-future of our Malaysian forest.

I snapped the poster's picture at a suitable dry spot in USM when the afternoon sun was the hottest. Heavy fonts were utilised because I am addressing a serious issue. All the materials in making the poster came from me except the WWF logo which I obtained it from their website.

The completed poster was then printed out onto a normal A3 glossy art paper as a finishing touch.
