Corporate Identity System

‘Spaeyz’ is an interior design company. Their company concept is simple modern but producing designs based on space and dimension. Due to those facts, I decided to choose Zurich Cn BT for the company name because it is bold and edgy. ‘design & architecture’ uses Century Gothic as the fonts appears to be lighter and compliments the bold company name above.

The words are in charcoal colour because black would make the words seems heavy. The company name was spaced out a little to allow the sense of space to kick in.

As for the boxes, they are aligned horizontally next to each other with different shades of pure cyan (without using the gradient tool). They are created manually in such way to depict space and dimension. Shade is a very powerful element in interior design because it could ‘create space’ visually. The lightest colour in the middle would be the visual anchor.

The visual anchor is placed there because I want to lead people from the word ‘spaeyz’ down to ‘design & architecture’. The composition of the logo also serves for that purpose as one can see its almost resembling a triangle shape. There is also unity in the logo because all the shapes its portraying are geometrical.

The picture above shows the CIS items I designed. There is a folder, memo, letterhead and name card. 'Spaeyz' is an interior design company so it would be most appropriate to have a folder to contain all the items together. The folder has a slit where the company's person in-charge can slip in their name card for client's reference. As for the pocket in the folder, quotations and print outs as well as any notes written on the memo can be kept properly.
